DPS final photo

As you can see this was my final image after editing for my DPS, I had sharpened the picture and made the artist more brighter so he is the center of focus, also i blurred out the sides of the image to make the artist the main focus in the image, with this I also blacked out the corners to give more attention in the middle rather then the outside of the image. As you can see the middle is the brightest part of the picture the reason why I did this was because the viewers are suppose to focus on the middle where the artist is rather then getting attracted to anything and I thought where the brightest light is the viewer will be attracted there more

This was the first image which i had taken, My initial thoughts with this image was to take it at a low angle the reason being for this was because it gives the person a higher status and makes him look higher then the others however the only problem with this image was the lighting, as you can see from the picture the lighting on the models face was too dull and everything around it was too dark therefore I did not choose this image.

For my DPS I had chosen this image the reason for this is because the lighting around this picture was quite clear and also the thing I like about this picture is that it is also at a high angle therefore it makes the artist look bigger. Also I chose low angle for this because i wanted the artist looking towards the future and I thought the lower angle gave it a better perspective of the future

I also tried using the high angle shoot however I did not like this angle the reason being is because it did not look like the artist was looking towards the picture but was just looking away from the camera, therefore I did not choose this image

This is my final double page spread, The category which I had chosen was hip hop, I liked the colour theme of black red and white therefore the DPS was based around these colours
